Game 3 of the 2011/12 Indoor season saw us take on Spye Park A, a team that are always competitive and very experienced, the other interest was ex Biddestone player Jimmy T was captaining them…
Fielding first we bowled well keeping the runs down and making them work for everything, Marshy not quite his usual self but still bowled well, with only one of there batsmen retiring a score of under 100 was always likely, Liam, Bakes and Jamie in the wickets and H involved in another run out saw Spye Reach 79 off the 10.
The Biddestone openers started solidly and H looking in fine from saw the first 6 of the game, with both him and Jamie retiring the pressure should have been off, but some middle order panic and a silly run out saw Jamie have to go back in and hit the winning 4 with 4 balls to spare, Bakes batted well towards the end and is starting to look a real prospect with bat and ball.
