Indoor Cricket Report 6/11/11
Biddestone A indoor team played there second game on Sunday 6th November against Marshfield Youth team, again we batted first, we did score more consistently through the innings on this occasion, both Hywel and Jamie retired and Marsh got a manic 18 batting at no 6, Marshfield’s young bowlers doing a good job and we were all out for 95 in the last over, Jamie deciding Aled to opening the bowling looked an interesting choice when the first ball just managed to hit the mat! Our new boy Tom not managing to stop it hitting the wall keeping wicket! Marshy and Jamie bowled there usual nippy stuff and kept it tight, a superb aim at one stump run out by the Chairman dismissed there opening batsman, Marshy then bowled a Waqar Yorker to dismiss another, the introduction of Liam into the attack completely changed the game, 4 wickets for 14 in 10 balls saw Marshfield all out for 56! Two stumpings and a catch for Tom behind the wicket and a clean bowled of the Marshfield captain saw Liam happier with his bowling compared with the one over for a lot last game!
