A Team indoor v Box
Sunday saw the A teams first game of the 2011/12 indoor season, a welcome return by Jamie Mitchell and 4 under 19’s saw us take on an experienced Box team, put into bat the runs came slowly on a lively Sheldon strip!!!! Jamie retired on 26 and Liam got a quick 19 but we could only muster 75 off 10 over’s, Robbie’s run out took me back to the Boycott/Botham run out in New Zealand many years ago! With Marsh and Baker bowling well and Jamie trying different combinations we did take a couple of wickets and made Box work hard for the runs Box winning in the last over. We did field well and showed that we will be competitive in the division.
